Do you consider Britain to be a Christian society ? I am not particulary religious but would consider Britain to be a Christian society rather than the alternative.

I am not a christian but I have always thought of these fair isles to be, not least as the Morarch is the leader of c of e here

Well i would class us as a Christian country. Are we not celebrating Easter the now?

Says it all really.
Farooq Murad, secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, said nobody could deny that the UK remains a largely Christian country with "deep historical and structural links" to Christianity.

Looks like they are just moaning cause Cameron said it.

If meant in a religious way don't know really if meant as in people helping others then defo no.

Historically, perhaps, but I don't know anybody that celebrates Easter/Christmas for anything other than the time off work and food/alcohol. The only remotely religious person that I spend time with is a close friend who was in prison for a long time, and read the bible to give himself some kind of faith that he couldn't muster from his "real" life. I'm very firmly atheist, I don't think religion has much of a place in politics.

I think it is a Christian country although it is more secular then it used to be.
