Picked on again

Went out earlier to take Vin for his walk. We were only 5 mins from house where there are flats where druggies live. Outside on the pavement a brown staffy no lead he spotted Vin (on lead) and proceeded to cross the road towards us. I could tell by his body language (sort of a slow prowl) there was going to be trouble! I tried to distract him with a treat but he completely ignored me and circled round to Vin who started to wag his tail. He went straight in for Vins neck who tried to get behind my oh legs.
The owner came running out and grabbed his collar and chucked him back towards the flat! the dog went very submissive and cowered down then.
I think Vin was fortunate to have his wide ezydog collar on as it protected him from any puncture wounds.
All we got was a sorry mate!! bloody people why are they so so irresponsible

Thanks Rach I just thank god it wasn't long before he came across or it could have been very nasty. My boy is so friendly and I hate him being scared like that xxx

Definitely poor Vin I'm sorry hun, people are just idiots. As you know Bis is a little off with some dogs/people and she is never out of my sight, I'd never forgive myself if she hurt another dog! So irresponsible xxx

Inez , sorry to hear that , note for future big stick , not for vin for you , kind of walking stick thing , then you can use it to fend off incoming dogs .

What a stupid git... he may think has has the tough dog now but what will he think when it approaches something bigger and more aggressive??? I know the outcome and it will be evryone elses fault.

Thanks all it was scary one thing I never want to witness is a staffy fight, although Vin is very placid no doubt like us there is only so much you can take xxx

I hate when that happens, when the 2 boxers attack my sam it was an nightmare he was only 10 months old
