biking

hi guys was wondering if any of you bike with your dogs?. If so what age did you start?.

Would be best to wait until Millie is fully grown to avoid any irrepairable damage to her joints, when she is about 18 months - 2 years old.

Bit early yet. And don't forget to put stabilisers on her bike at first.

I think it depends on the dog my friends tried it with their lab but he just buggered off chasing other people and they kept having to turn back to go and find him lol! But my friend cycles with her staffie, just have to be really careful with their joints. Biscuit isn't temperamentally sound enough to have off lead, and is more of a moocher than a jogger so wouldn't bother with her!

i used to try and cycle with my fathers collie but she always used to try and eat my Kellogg's cornflake reflectors on my bike so gave up trying lol

hmmm thanks for comments guys, i think i will start of with jogging with her first when she a bit older and see how i get on with that before trying biking, shes very good she doesnt go up to dogs or people unless i say she can.
