beaus ongoing affections....

hi all not posted for a good few days now... phoebes season is over by about 2 weeks now and allthough it was tough at times for us and very frustrating for our boy it passed without any major probs..beau suddenly lost interest in phoebe her swelling went down he got his appetite back and all was good for 4 days then all of a sudden beau started to take an interest in her again constantly at her backend when she pees outside he's straight over and if not told he will lick it all up [sorry but have to be honest] sometimes he just wont give her piece..weve given phoebe a bath and all her blankets incase of any smells still about we are in 2 minds whats going on whether its a dominance thing that's arisen with beau realising phoebe is more sexually mature, also beau has started actually standing over phoebe sometimes moving her out the way when some of the family come to visit he will say hello for a short time then head straight over her again..have to say as well that beau has become really quite aggressive towards other males[even more than usual] any ideas whats going on folks?

Sorry, have never had two dogs together of male and female, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to explain this to you.

I am not a expert, but seem to me like, Beau does not want any other males near her so behaving like that. And hes guarding phoebes like a prize bone........... Hope fully someone will be of more help.
