Coming into season? Empty Coming into season?

Hello all. Please could you advise me. My girl Zara will be six months on the 1st of March. Today she is just not herself. Her tail is down a lot and I'm sure her lady bits look slightly swollen. She just not her happy self. I also got her a new bright yellow Nyla bone to chew on but I've had to put it away as she seems scared of it. Like unsure and backing away from it. Is it possible she going into season? Or is it too early? Is it normal for her to be scared of the new bone? She usually loves a new toy or chew Sad

Sounds like she might be, feel so sorry for them when they're in season. They can often get quite skittish when their hormones are all over the place, though it might just be that it's a new bone that she hasn't seen before!! See how she goes over the next couple of days, lots of cuddles will help I'm sure Smile

Could quite well be. I swore by Hygiene pads when Moo was in season, it might be something you want to think about Xx

Thank you for your lovely replies and tips. Well Zara is much more herself this evening and she is now chewing her new toy. I spread a little peanut butter on it to coax her Smile. She also enjoys her stag antler bar. I just like to give her various chew toys as them big teeth have come through at the back and she loves a good old chew. Probably a false alarm that I thought she could be coming into season. Although she did behave very strange this morning. Bless her.

Just realised, at last Women can see PMT in the same way as a Man does. As in, Once a Month WTF?, who is this person?, is she ill? Why does she hate me?, What have I done? Lol.

Thank God there is no way that I know of that a Man can see it from a Woman's point of view. Would not want to go through that.

True. But at least it gives you a little bit of an idea.

I have always owned un neutered Boys which makes me pay attention to other issues! Pestering bitches (aaahhhh memories of my youth lol), male/male challenges etc. Being able to read body language and a good recall are a must.

But at least this behaviour is somewhat predictable. PMT, OMG.
