Vet nurse assistant.

Do any of you have any experience in this? I've got an interview tomorrow and want to be prepared!! Reading up online but don't know anybody that has real experience in the role

No experience her either. The best advice I can give is to be prepared for the obvious questions though and be yourself. Hope it goes well for you.

just be your self, your love of animals makes you want a job with animals, you are very willing to learn etc etc you will be just fine, have a proper fur baby snog and hug before you go good luck xx

Thanks guys! I don't think it will be all too dissimilar to my assistant job with the RSPCA, phone interview is in 10 minutes and then face to face tomorrow!!

Hope it's going well Rachel, cannot give any personal experience but a good book to read/have is the BSAVA Textbook of Veterinary Nursing, I have a copy myself and has been very useful.

That's a shame but maybe you can fit in a few here and there and word will get round how good you are and, as you say, in the meantime you can build up your savings x

Thanks you guys I've got the second part of the interview today! So nervous, I've always worked for charities on minimum wage for 60 hours a week and now I'm being offered a swanky vets job for £1 more an hour and weekends off(?!) lol! I had to go and buy some posh clothes I've never been to an interview like this before, usually just turn up in jeans and wellies to get shown around kennels! Arrghh!
