Broken my hand :(

Well 28 years old and never broken a bone in my life, until a stupid incident on sunday night after one too many drinks at a christening.

Got a bit wound up by some people and lost my temper, instead of punching someone, thought it was a good idea to punch a solid wooden door. Drink in wits out. Now have a fractured bone in my hand, and have a cast from finger tips to elbow until i go to fracture clinic on thursday. Hopefully i can just get it strapped rather than cast, work in an office so a cast will kee me off work.

poor little Milo will now be restricted to walks round the local area, as i cant drive to the beach or anywhere

Andrew, what a muppet you are!! The walls always gonna win. Hope its healing ok and I guess you'll find out on Thursday. Milo will be fine with the walks they adjust, just don't pick a fight with a wall! x

Sounds just like my OH - he did something really similar a few years ago!

Cheers everyone. Hope i can get away with it being strapped up, dont think i could cope with a cast for 6 weeks. ony had this on since monday and its annoying me already.

Milo just thinks its a toy and takes every opportunity he can to havea go at it, only problem is its only a half pot cast, so soft on one said which means he gets his teeth caught in it if he manages to get hold of me
