Puppy training!

We've got our first puppy training class tomorrow! I'm really looking forward to it but also a bit nervous - I just hope Alfie behaves himself lol! He can already sit and lie down so I'm hoping he'll do okay! Has anyone else been to puppy training classes? Did you find them helpful? xx

Yes I went with Vinnie when he was a pup I had already done loads of training with him, but picked up some useful tips and of course its a great way to socialise them. Hope all goes well sure he will be a star, let us know how it goes xxx

Daisy is a rescue so I didn't have her from a pup but we did go to basic obedience classes. We both really enjoyed it and it was extremely helpful in teaching me a good training technique which I still use know when teaching new things   Good luck, let us know how it goes xx

Thanks everyone Alfie did really well! He was really good with the other dogs which was the main thing I was worried about. Not totally sure if this first session really did any good though as it was all to do with sitting and lying down which he can already do perfectly without treats, so when the trainer was giving different methods of doing it and introducing treats to him again he just seemed to get confused and over excited about the treats! Looking forward to doing some new stuff with him next week though xx
