Eating grass and leaves Empty Eating grass and leaves

Gabby is eating grass and leaves and any other plants she can hold of.
Also she got hold of a couple of red berry things that have fallen off the trees in the garden.
Just wanted to know if these could harm her.
Our vet mentioned about the slug and worm virus(lungworm),which we could give her an injection to prevent her from getting this virus.
Has anyone else given there puppy this injection.
Don't like the thought of filling her with chemicals, but then don't like the thought of her getting ill.

Yeah be careful not to let her eat stuff like that, its safest. Daisy has a thing about pulling the seeds of long grass, weird! Not heard of that injection, I also used a regular worming tablet.

Bane eats leaves and things which seem to make no difference to him.
In terms of the berries, maybe try to find out what kind of tree it is to make sure it isn't poisonous? It might just give her an upset stomach...just don't let her eat them often unless you are sure they are safe.

I've never heard of the injection either...I think the worms are covered in Bane's monthly worming tablet Smile

Not heard of an injection but Rocky has a worming treatment every 3 months. Can you distract her away from the leaves with a squeaky toy ?
