where am i going wrong

hi all
hope uv all had a great xmas.

so the little one is now 10 months nearly and had her first season and training has been going ok but theres some issues we just cant break.

when she gets too excited running about (on her extendable lead) she runs at me growling and jumps up and goes for my shoes. its not as bad or as frequent as before but its not ideal. i usually just get hold of her harness then get down to her level and calm her down.

she has also started barking.....all the time. if someone walks past and doesnt speak to her or stands close but ignores her she barks. and in house she whines allllll the time for biscuits!

another thing is that she is fearful of things she wasnt before like her harness, walking past some things outside like bins, the vet said they can go through fear stages.

shes just too friendly she wants to maul everyone and play.

any tips or advice would be great. hope u all have a great new year

first question how many times do you walk her and how long for?

Darcy is scared of the most daft things it's a possible Staffy thing, I think it's down to training, regarding the barking I'd ignore the behaviour then hopefully she'll realise it gets her nowhere.

Yes I agree ignore unwanted behaviour and also a time out when she gets too excited. Daisy is also quite jumpy with things out and about!

i walk her twice a day usually but shes not wantin to go out in the wind or rain!

she can be fine for a whole 40 min walk and on the way back starts to growl n pull her lead etc.

yeah tried ignoring the barking but she just wont stop lol

shes soooo strong now
