I use adocate every month on Roman and Stronghold on my cats.
I wouldn't feel right not fleaing him every month

All dogs should be wormed every month until 6 months old & then every 3 months for life. I use Milbemax from the vet for this as it also helps to prevent Lungworm as well as Roundworm & Tapeworm. However, I won't de-flea unless there are fleas present. I really don't see the need to apply such harsh chemicals when he's unlikely to get fleas anyway.

Because my cats often get fleas (no bloody idea why) and even though I flea Roman, the cats and the house I still find fleas sometimes... no bloody idea where they are coming from! I know how fast they can multiply so I won't take the risk.

I think it may be because there is a LOT of cats round here, some of them stray, and I have caught random cats in my house before now so that must be who brings them in x

I must admit that not having cats does have its advantages! Laughing

Oh my 2 boys drive me round the bend on a daily basis! They sleep in an empty walkers crisp box on top of my kitchen cupboards  Straight Face

So many mornings we have woken up to half eaten animals in the lounge or live mice / frogs etc being let loose  >=P

Murphy has even stolen sausages from somewhere (cooked ones) and brings them home to eat as if we don't feed him.... lil s**t!!!

I don't do cats either  Laughing  Rocky has his worming treatment every three months, and flea treatment every 2 months or so. We have some pet owners around here who are not very good with animal health care.

I am deffo more of a cat person, my OH is a dog person hence why we have both lol.

We used to keep reptiles as well but sold them all as it was too much work whilst pregnant, and TBH I didn't want a 5/6ft monitor lizard around a baby!! x
