Cold aching fingers

Done a funeral report this morning, I think me and Mum wrote around 200 names each! My ruddy fingers are so cramped and I haven't got warm yet  

what is an funeral report?

When people come to the church we write their names, for the family to have and then it gets printed if they want it in the local paper

No its not done everywhere but I suppose for the family, who are by no means in the state of mind to notice, that its nice for them to see afterwards who and how many were there.  

I bet your fingers are aching piglet, never heard of a funeral report before.

My fingers ache after a sentence so not used to writing anymore!

That's a nice idea. There were hundreds of people at my dad's funeral so it was impossible to speak to everybody and thank them for coming. It's comforting to know how well somebody was loved once they're passed.
