The plan was to practice fetch...

But of course, Dempsey had other ideas. Halfway through, he decided it would be more fun to take one of my slippers (which, by the way, I was WEARING!) and run off with it. Cue the game of Chase-Dempsey-Around-The-House-To-Retrieve-Slipper. Maybe he decided it would be better to teach me how to fetch?

Yes, but I think the idea of fetch is allowing the dog (or me, in this case) to actually get the toy (or slipper, in this case)!
