Sick

I'm trying to tough it out and get daisy to eat raw bones, she had a turkey neck for tea last night but didn't eat it. Put it down again this morning, still would eat it but then she was laid crying and started pacing about then was sick :-( was just a little yellow bile as her stomach is empty, pretty sure it was the upset of not getting a breakfast she wanted to eat? and she was fine after, we've been for a walk, all good. Should I continue what I'm doing? If I'm to successfully feed raw she needs to have some bones for her teeth, will she get used to them?

Aww poor Daisy I am of no use Saz. Sure she will get used to it  

yellow bile is because she is hungry and has an empty belly, yes continue with the tough love, don't forget a lot of dogs are only fed once a day, mince included so unless she is really ill carry on for a while longer yet.

believe you me it's worse on you then it is on Daisy!

Chloe won't eat bones but Lola loves them. I think maybe some dogs will just never like them.

She's eating it....not very well but she's trying!!

your a raw feeder happens to the best of us

 She is doing really well on the diet, she looks great, just need to get over this bone thing so her teeth stay in good health too!

So true Lisa I thought there was no way darcy would eat tripe mince but she ate it and was crying for more & I was all please that she ate stinky green mince
