Homing Requirements: Bess needs a family who are happy to be there for a bigger Staffie with little self-confidence. Bess needs a secure garden, exit management and a routine she can settle into because she is going to want to be with you; ideally sleeping beside your bed. Bess needs to be an ‘only’ pet with support to meet dogs when they fly over off lead as she is likely to get flummoxed until she settles, but she is fine with managed meets.

Her Story: Bess was found abandoned and struggles in kennels. She adores company, walks and would delight in a foster place or home of her own. Bess is neutered, chipped and vax'd. Bess is in boarding kennels near Gatwick, West Sussex.

Advert: Bess looks up to you pleading and hoping. She gives the signs that she hasn't had much in life and almost the look of 'Are you going to reject me’? She loves walks and settles walking beside other dogs but hasn't got a great deal of confidence so needs to be an only pet with not too many dogs coming up to her until she finds herself. Unassessed in a foster home. Bess travels well in the car as the front passenger but needs tight car security as she will also need in her garden as she is keen to follow.

Bess is a medium sized Brindle Staffie X and about 3-4 years old. Bess has a scrunched up brow which engages people as her eyes search into yours. She needs a dog experienced family who wants to help a Staffie this time, and support her as she learns that humans are kind, humans do care and my humans are my forever friends.
