Had a bit of a fright and thought my pony had laminitus. Turns out i was just being paranoid and she just needed a trim.

I did wonder if you were worried about laminitus but didn't want to mention it as surely it's entirely the wrong time of year for that.

The weather has been so good that lots of ponies are going down with it again this year, must be a nightmare for ones who regularly get it! Touch wood i have never had to deal with it but that definitely gave me a little scare.

Is your pony shod or does the farrier just trim the hoofs. At the stable yard that I worked we had a Shetland pony who hated having his hoofs cleaned and hated the farrier.
