Grabbing

Any tips on how to make Ella not grab the ball from my hands before I throw it. She loves tennis balls so much and fetches it back when I throw it but if I dont throw it quick enough she grabs it so quickly. today she actually grabbed my finger at the same time....ouch....those jaws are strong lol. I tell her no, but like a child she dosnt hear no.

I would teach her a wait command, ideally sit and wait, while you get ready to throw it

Keep at it, try teaching the command with something else, then you can transfer it to the ball  

As Saz has said sit and wait command, perhaps treat her also when she has waited a few seconds. Then try throwing the ball. Keep at it sure it will click.
