Is Debo DA?

Or is it just hormonal? He's 18mnths now and we noticed that he's trying to have a go with every dog on the lead(he's on the lead as well). The behaviour on the lead was a problem before but he was playing with his male friend Elvis. Suddenly Elvis lay down on his back, Debo took the chance and stood over him,his body stif. Elvis didn't like it and growled showing teeth. They had a fight. Not a proper one with bites,more like they were shouting at each other. He wasn't like that before and he's fine with females. So do you think he's becoming DA or it's just hormones? What can I do for him to help him deal with it?

I would say hormones. But hormones could make him da. Not sure what to do about it I've never had a male dog at that age.

Personnally I'd say if he's ok with female's, its not a DA thing as such .. my last boy was DA, and would scrap with anything in sight, male, female, even a young dog given the chance  

My money would be on a testosterone, stick ya chest out, type thing with other males ... all the same, it MAY not pass!!! you will need to keep a close eye on him at all times, as it could end up in tears

Darcy doesn't really like on lead meeting she's unsure, off lead she's fine

He's kind of scared of females, respect their space. He's fine with being told off by female but won't take any of that from male.
