The annual slaughter begins

September 1st brings with it the annual dolphin slaughter in Taji. These lovely bolttlenose dolphins will be the first victims. They are in a pen now and awaiting trainers who will pick young good looking dolphins from the pod, put them in slings and then take them away to concrete pools. They are very likely to hear the screams of their family when they begin to stab them to death.

Ive found out india have now ruled against the setting up of any parks which hold marine animals. A lot of respect for india right now.

Sometimes I'm ashamed to admit I belong to the human race . Hubby feels so strongly about conservation and so do I. One winter we were banned from entering the home office as a mole snake decided to use it to hybernate in it.

Poor Dolphins  

Money obsessed d1cks. They have no respect for anything living - human, dolphin, anything. Whenever somebody tries to stop them, they get violent. Disgusting excuses for human beings.

To eat. Whale/dolphin meat is a big deal there cause it is seen as special cause you can't just grow it yourself. Cow pig etc is common.

I know what you mean now, I have seen pictures of it being done to whales. Horrific  

bitter sweet update. some dolphins were selected for captivity and have now been taken from the pod. the rest have been released "unharmed"

dolphins live in a very tight social family, so noone knows what impact the removal of members can do. some researchers believe it can lead to the death of the entire pod cause if the leader is taken, noone else steps up and they eventually starve..

Dreadful, dreadful. I saw it somewhere that dolphins have the intelligence of a 6 year old human child. No-one anywhere, not even in Taji, needs in these days to eat dolphins, or capture them for the entertainment of humans who have no more intelligence than the dolphins.

Even if there isn't anything we can do, there's nothing wrong with caring.

Can't believe you said this Steve, especially after what you said about Syria which is nowhere near us either.

I don't want to fight, we are all entitled to our own opinions.  

i said this becasue you was the just same when i said it :)kid we should care more about kids then some dolphin...

why care about humans when all they do is murder others? i dont give a * about humans, animals are better.
