Is Joey a cross?

We ahve a 6month old staffy. We did not get papers with him as someone brought him to our house asking if we wanted him as a group of teenagers were going to drown him as they could not find a home for him. We were told he was a pure staffy but now i'm not sure. A few people have commented onhim asking wot he is crossed with and when i tell them he is a pure they say no he's not.
Just wondered what some peoples thoughts were on here

Good for you on rescuing him

At 6 months, staffies can look quite strange. Some of them shoot up into leggy, skinny little dogs that look nothing like the adult version! It's often difficult to tell until they're a bit older.

It might help if you post a picture

Can you post some pics? Without papers you cant be 100% sure, I'm rubbish at crosses but someone will be able to help

As far as I can tell, she looks like a staffy to me.

Definitely looks staffy. TBH rather than looks, I think a better clue is their personality. Without papers you will never be sure so why not just relax and enjoy him. As someone else said on this forum " when anyone asks what he is just say ....a dog "

You will never know for sure he could be staffy or staffy cross

I was told the same,that Molly was a full staffy,but i no she is not,i love her to bits,we have our ups and downs with her,but wouldnt be with out her.just enjoy   x
