have a date...

Well met a lass while on walkies got talking etc etc and arranged a date. Next sate at ashridge woods breakfast and then walkies with the pooches.
Few problems I have...
1 its 11am and I will need to walk the dogs for and hour or so beforehand or they just wont sit still
2 I havent done this dating thing for years, have no decent clothes as im skint. So all I can do is turn up in tshirt, shorts and trainers that have done 1400 miles plus (thats the truth)
3 my breakfast usually consists of a fag and strong coffee so cant imagine eating anything.
4 she is blond im into brunettes
5 the place in the woods is damn expensive and will prob eat up my food budget in one hit
6 her dog is an agressive jrt cross not that my two are botherd but I can imagine it when marley slaps it down
7 I continuesly making up excuses in my head not to go through with it and pretending ive been called into work
8 I would prefer waking up with the pooches, having a cuddle, play in garden, coffee, fag and then a nice quiet walk for a few hours with people jumping out the way lol then coming home nd chilling out. All convo that day being eye contact hand signals and one cylable words.
Im this close ----》《----- to calling it off just cant be assed with it all but dont wanna end up that weird guy with the dogs at the end of the street. Maybe im just not ready after 4 years of singledom. Yeah have been the floozies but im fed up with that too tbh.

Give it a go, you can't loose anything by it, and if you never chance it you will stay single.....which is not a bad thing but, you never know what can happen. Gotta just trust an instinct and what ya gonna loose really...?! Xxx

lol i would have cancled. but thats me and im alone.

just go and have a nice time and if you think the dogs are going to be a bother leave them at home (or take them and use them as your escape!!)

Put it this way - it's one morning out of your entire life. If it goes badly, you just leave the morning behind you. If it goes well, bingo!

Try not to stress about it Nathan, on the face of it it's a case of "our dogs have fun together, let's do it again".
1. Yes, give your dogs a walk beforehand so that they'll let you have your brekkie in relative peace (and hope she's done the same with her dog)
2. That's you and your clothes (presumably she has already seen you in your normal outfit and wasn't repulsed). Just be fresh and clean, no one could expect more at 11 am for a dog walk.
3. Have your fag and your coffee - it's your brekkie.
4. Forget hair colour - you're walking your dogs!
5. A fag and a coffee shouldn't cost too much at this place in the woods - if she wants to pig out she should pay for it herself.
6. She'll have to keep her nasty dog under control - it's only manners.
7. If you really feel uncomfortable about it, don't do it (so long as you can let her know if you made a definite date - work is a good excuse)
8. There is nothing wrong in being happy with being in a single state. It would be a sad world if anyone without a current partner was considered "weird".

Do it! You have nothing to lose! I think you will regret it if you don't go through with it! Good luck!

PS- you could always ask her to dye her hair brown  

go for it Nathan!may be a relationship wont' come out of it,may be it will,you might just get a good friend out of it,you have nothing to loose by going and you never know you might enjoy it!dont worry about what you'll wear,if she likes you she will take you just as you are  

Worth going as you never know, as said if it is crap you don't have to see her again. But don't knock blondes til you tried one!

Yeah just get her to dye her hair brown. In fact may I recommend you buy some dye and take it with you on the first date. you can dye her hair and then ask her if she minds footing the food bill since you have spent a fortune already just to sort her bloody hair out. Can't see that causing any problems

Im getting colder to the idea by the day tbh... im used to the house looking like a squat. Having the dogs sleep on the bed. Doing my own thing when I want whenever I want. The tv is all mine and not seen a sodding soap on tv in over 4 years. Programs about dogs, aliens, syfi, blowing things up or making things are perfectly acceptable viewing without having to argue the point. The only person I argue with is mysef so I aways win.
Now if we go into the cold hard cash figures, meals, Clothes, going out, all those extra toiletries and cleaning products, extra electricity running two tv's, extra gas to keep the house tropical all year round.
Or I could get cleaner for a few quid a week and cheap hooker for less than a hundred an hour each month which is prob more than id get once she gets her feet under the table anyway. Im begining to wonder if its all worthwhile lol.
Only kidding will see how it goes. Have some cash for some new trainers and she can make do with a sodding bacon sarnie, lets call it a test lol

I would go for it mate , never tried it you never know . Turn up in your scruffs and tell her you'd rather share a bag of chips than go in the woods with her , how do you know she is not exactly the same and just trying to impress. I tend to get hammered and get my belly out on a first date , after this I can only impress and never dissapoint

Anyway go for it Nathan it's one morning, I was convinced a life of singledom was ahead but I met a guy a few weeks ago still very early days but he took straight to Ledger and doesn't mind dogs on the bed, he is in the Navy super hot in uniform but away with work which means we aren't in each others pockets so none of the too much too soon (i am very used to my independence) just staying in touch daily at the moment but you don't know if you don't try, can always leave if it's awful
