Am I Stupid

I have been asked to take a urine sample from Milly to the specialist on Monday any ideas how I do this help please!!!

You can get a special little bottle from the vet, I had to do that many times with my last dog who was diabetic xxx

Cheer for that I will ring the vet tomorrow thanks I thought I was gona have to chase her around the garden with a bowl just trying to catch a bit my bad

Think yourself lucky - I had to do that with my first Border Collie & I did chase her round with a bowl to catch it!

What a palaver!

Now if your vet dont provide them you got to video and post chasing her around so we can all learn

use an old frying pan to collect

I needed a sample from my last dog and it was comical to try and get it. Every time he saw me approaching with my little dish he would put his leg down pdq! Its amazing how long they can hold on without going when they want too. My Vet suggested dropping some cotton wool underneath him and then squeezing that to get the urine in to the sample bottle. They only need a little drop.

At least your neighbours will get a good laugh! Good Luck.

yes I was going to suggest get an old frypan ( or get one from an op shop ) when she squats..well. you know the rest .................
