Has anyone tried?
After last weeks stick fiasco the girls are banned from playing with anything sharp and spikey thats dropped from a tree. Im looking for new indestructable toys online (skibadee is the ulitmate chewer) and came across a few I might try. Just wanted to know if any of you had bought these before and how they fared?

Re: Has anyone tried?
Back to the drawing board then! To this day the only toy I had had thats lasted more than a couple of days had been this miniture tyre made out of old car tyres.
So was that kong on the rope not strong like a normal kong then? Must have been quite soft for him to just take chunks out like that.

Re: Has anyone tried?
Have also seen the kong wubbas but just doesn't look tough enough for Skibby, she would tear off the material then burst the bouncy thing inside.

I'm afraid I agree, apart from her frisbee, which she isn't allowed indoors, everything else she destroys too.

Re: Has anyone tried?
I got Blue the 3rd on for £3 on special offer at my local Petrs at Home.
It lasted approx 35.3 seconds
It looks tough but he chewed the corner of the handles and pulled all the stuffing out

Re: Has anyone tried?
Haven't tried any of those yet................
Bruno has got some cheap toys from Wilkinson and our local veg and fruit place that also sells pet stuff.
Bruno had a squeaky mouse which now has holes in it, but my little girl got it for her toy rottie jack.
1 . Squeaky bone with no squeak ........ I took the squeak out
2. Ball with a bell in it
3. 2 x tug ropes (small ones)
4. cuddly dog that's his baby.
so far these are intact.......................

It wasn't a very strong one, but then Dempsey also chewed lumps out of the black extreme kong!

ha ha i think we must all by the same toys memphis had distroyed all them by 5 months old.
the only things that give him any use are the kong tennis balls with the sqeaker i by 3 a month for 2.99.
any other tennis ball last no joke about 30seconds then in about 20peices

Yes, see I can't buy anything like that, because as well as destroying them Dempsey eats them & I've had enough of emergency trips to the vets! Any more & the vet says he'll put a zip in his stomach!

Re: Has anyone tried?
The only toy Mika has never destroyed is a tennis ball and some of the toys i have seen look so much stonger than a tennis ball.

Re: Has anyone tried?
, my bruno is the same the best toys for him are cardboard boxes which he must shred, the inside of toilet rolls, plastic juice bottles, and wood.
We did once buy a 10 pack of mini footballs off ebay for a £10 and inflated them all really hard and he had an absolute ball spending a few days bursting and then shredding them all.... we dont bother any more, and unfortunately any footballs that come ove rthe back fence meet a grizzly end too !!!

Re: Has anyone tried?
Oh, by reading through all of your comments I must be one of the lucky ones in regards to toys.......Roxy LOVES her toys and surprisingly enough has only destroyed/damaged 2.
The kong on a rope looks good to me, I might have to keep an eye out for one of those....and Roxy has a Puppy Kong Wubba which is still going strong, even the squeak still sqeaks ( it's usually the thing that dies in her other squeakie toys)
I'm going to thank my lucky stars that she does'nt like destroying her toys

A tyre hanging from a tree worked a treat for Kita when she was young, unfortunately we don't have a tree where we live now
