Abby's First Night

Hi All,

Bought Abby home yesterday and so far she has been an absolute diamond. Slept the 2 hour journey home in the car, took her straight outside in the garden for a wee no problem.

So far she has been doing her business really well out on the patio with lots of praise after she has gone and only a couple of little wees in the kitchen when I haven't caught her in time.

I was shocked last night when I put her in her playpen she went straight into her crate and snuggled down. I slept in the lounge expecting her to be crying but I didn't hear a peep apart from her little piglet snores. Woke myself up at 3AM to get her out to do her business with minimal fuss and then was back to sleep until 7 this morning. All in all she seems very sure of herself but not overly cocky. Got a vet health check visit tomorrow and hoping she gets the thumbs up.

She has been an absolute pleasure so far but I'm expecting the terror side to come out in the coming weeks. For now shes snoozing on the couch next to me as I type this

Thanks guys. I can't wait until she's had her injections done and she's allowed out in the big wide world. I feel bad that she's restricted to the house for exercise, playing on the kitchen floor with the toys just isn't the same as a walk in the park.

How cute is she????? Great pics, especially the one sound asleep. Makes you want to pick her up and cuddle her.

Abby is SO cute! I'm glad that she is settling in well! Enjoy her sleeping a lot while it lasts! Congratulations on your new addition! Don't forget to take lots of pics as they grow up so fast!

Aw she's gorgeous... I met a 5 month old blue brindle staffie at the weekend and she was gorgeous... Look at her head! I really wanted a blue one but couldn't find one at the time! Love my colin to bits.... but she is adorable xx
