She hit my little girl!

I had Paris and Tyson at the beach and they are great with all other dogs and just play so as normal they where off the leash. When we were on our way back to the car a lady mid 50s was walking towards us with a german shep cross "off the leash" Paris ran up to the dog to say hello and the lady started shouting "shoo go away" I said to the woman politely that they were fine with other dogs, next thing she hit Paris with her dogs leash! I have never been so angry, how dare she! I did threaten to hit her with mine if she done it again which is a nice heavy chain, i wouldnt mind so much if something was wrong but they were only having a sniff... as they do. Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

i've never had that happen but i can understand why you were angry

Its never happened to me and its not nice I bet she would not have liked it if you would of hit her dog

Same here, some little girl went to hit Molly the other day (It may have been an over exaggerated pet though, hence why nothing was said) but the parents didn't care.... I was fuming.

I'd have belted her with my lead or reported her for animal cruelty how dare someone hit an animal especially when its not theirs

It hasn't happened to me, but I've a had a few threaten to hit both Bandit in his day & Dempsey. The replies I gave would not be welcome on a family forum!

some people are real retards, i could understand if say your dog had jumped on hers etc. for me if someone hit my dog for no reason i would have to defend him by whatever means as he couldnt defend himself under those circumstances. lastly she must be useless as a dog owner or she would know her actions could have well triggered an incident between dogs...

Thanks everyone! Well by the time i got the dogs back to the car i was seeing red and was going to march back along to confront her myself. Then i thought what would i do? id end up getting myself into trouble and it was not worth it. I had to restrain my boyfriend when i got home and told him. I hope i bump into her again and we will see who will be swinging the leash first. Paris is ok but it makes you think what does she do to her dog if she has the nerve to hit a little pup.

what does she look like, where did that happen, am on my way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! B**** of a woman, god if anyone done that to any of mine i'd be in the jail!!

Animal cruelty of any description makes mt blood boil. She obviously hadn't got the sense to socialise her dog so therefore your dogs that are socialised had to get away, stupid women, I would of said the same.

I had an incident a couple of months ago over the dog field. Lolaseen a women with her dog and she did her usual bombarding over to them and did the jumping up thing. I could Lola and she came back, I put Lola back on her lead, but as I walked past the women I couldsee her rubbing her knee. I said are you OK, and she replied with "no your effing dog's just bitten me". I was shocked and asked to see. Well she was BS, because the wound she showed me wasn't even a bite, it was 2 bruises that were old and the size of a tigers mouth must hav done them, meaning something really not animal at all. A row ensued, and a lot of effin. I followed her and said let's get the police then and see what they think, but she knew she was lying, I was furious that Lola had been accused of something he obviously hadn't done. I would of held ny ands up if Lola had been responsible.

that could have turned out really serious too if she had been believed, flippin eejit, honestly, see some people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to be really careful with some people. They see a staff or other bully breed and they see ££££££'s compensation. They don't care that the dog might end up having to wear a muzzle, or even being pts because of their lies!

Yep happened to my little guy, i was walking through the outdoor shopping centre with Harley after he had been to the vets and some old Chinese guy hit him, let's just say i wasn't happy- i have a thread about it on here.

My first thought was maybe her dog is extremley DA in which case she would of done the right thing in my opinion as paris could of ended up getting a lot worse but u say her dog was off lead as well so if her dog was DA then u would of thought it would of been on leash then maybe u wouldnt of allowed your dogs to run up to hers, silly woman! x

Tuesday Abe and his son were walking our dogs and Emma got all excited to play with another dog but since she was leashed she couldn't and turn that excitement to my other dogs causing a ruckuss. It wasn't anything agressive or abnormal, just dogs doing what they do. Some lady yelled out to them something about us having aggressive dogs and was totally * at him for having them out in public. I am so glad I wasn't there, I don't think I would have been able to be "nice". I don't have agressive dogs and I don't want anyone yelling out at me in a very populated place. That same women missed the dogs playing with some kids just minutes before!!

Like everyone on here i'm very protective of my baby, i'd have whacked her with my lead and said how do you like it... along with a few choice words.
