Just wondered if anyone on here knows whether Pet Plan covers dog behavioural correction?

Thinking about getting a dog behaviourist in to assess myself and Knox and see if they can figure out the reason for his behaviour in the mornings.

It will depend what type of cover you have.

Ahh I have classic so it's probably a no then

My vet has recommended someone but it wouldn't be my vets doing it so I'm guessing they wouldn't pay out

Well pet plan essential is actually their cheapest policy so I don't see, if you have lifetime classic, why they wouldn't pay out for behavioral too, it would likely require a referral from your vet or a behaviorist of pet plans choosing but your best bet is to email or phone them, they're pretty damn helpful to be fair.

Helpful, yes, but very expensive!

Also, I wouldn't be happy with the bit that says that treatment must be carried out by your vet - that would exclude the vast majority of their policy holders because very few vets are qualified to give behavioural advice!
