Shadows Height.

Was wondering if someone could advise me on this. I have a 7 month old male staffy (Shadow)He currently weights 15.7 kilos and measures just on 17inchs, while reading up it states on many websites that 18in is the max height for a male is this true? Since he is only 7months I assume he has alot more growing to do!

Staffys come in so ,many different shapes and sizes, Shadow still has a lot of growing to do. I learnt from here that they grow in height in the first year and fill out in the second. He sounds to be growing nicely, put some pics up and we can see pleeeease

Chase is 7 months, just over 17 inches tall, weights 20.5

Both his parents were big though. They all grow at different rates, chase shot up between 5-7 months, then slowed down a bit.

As said they are all different shapes and sizes my Ty is 15months he is 13ins and weighs 16.6kg like a little batering ram lol.

That's quite tall for a staff. Here's the Kennel Club standard on size........
Size
Desirable height at withers 36-41 cms (14 to 16 ins), these heights being related to the weights. Weight: dogs: 13-17 kgs (28-38 lbs); * 11-15.4 kgs.

I'd say he'll probably end up at about 18" tall, and his weight will obviously go up as he matures.
