old pommy comedys are the best !!

..we have 15 free to air tv channels now here and they are showing heaps of the fantastic old comedys from the late 60's and 70's...Benny Hill, Bless This House, Are You Being Served, Some Mothers Do "Ave 'em, Man About The House.. hey they are even showing Love Thy Neighbour!! (which I am amazed that it hasn't been banned!! ) Tonight they just started showing On The Buses right from the beginning ... I grew up watching all these shows and they are brilliant. On The Buses is my second most favourite comedy show.. but my all time favourite ever is The Goodies. I LOVE The Goodies ( as much as I love Jethro and all staffys.. that is alot !! ) Last year my long suffering hubby Tony and I flew across Australia to Sydney to attend all 5 shows that Tim and Graeme from The Goodies were doing. ( a round trip of 8,000 kilometres! ) And I even got to meet them both.. they are the nicest down to earth blokes ever. So yes I am a looney Goodies fan !! Anyway what I really am saying is that the old shows really were the best !!

Went over to NSW to Sydney ( I live in Western Australia ) and was lucky enough to meet Tim and Graeme after one of their shows. It was in 2009. I was like a pig in mud !!

My all time favorite is Only Fools & Horses.....classic
