Puss coming from penis area

I'm new to dog ownership and new to this site so please bear with me.
My staffy has green puss coming from his penis area. Any advice on what I can do or is it just normal?
He is 2 and has been sterilised..

I don't know what it could be since I've only had girls. I would try calling your vet to see what they advise.

Unfortunately I can't offer any advice on this however I am sure someone will be along a little later who may be able to provide some information.

In the mean time, I would do as jstaff has suggested above and phone your vet .. a quick phone call will provide you with reassurance and/or information on what you need to do.

I agree, with the advice given ^^^^ darcy is my 1st dog too, they can be so worrying can't they, I'd definitely give your vet a call just for some peace of mind, it may very well be normal, I'm some someone with some experience in this will pop along shortly keep us updated.

If it's more yellow-ish then it's most likely normal, since Loki has that. If it is actually green or has a bit of a smell, then it might be an infection, so I'd take him to the vet

Tank gets this occasionally but more like a creamy yellowish than green. Generally it's just dried urine and the natural lubricants of the boy bits.
He needs to give himself a clean - if it smells and it continuous - then vets x

I would pop to the vet for a quick check , if its nothing to worry about then your mind has been put to rest and you know for the future, I only see white or yellow on my boy and he's still entire
