attempt to get off the sofa and get fit

I have just downloaded the NHS Couch to 5k podcasts to my ipod in the vain hope that I actually get off my bottom and do it...............................apparently there is a pooch to 5k app too so maybe once I get up some sort of fitness I can start taking the pooch !!!!!!

wish me luck as fitness isn't my strong point

buy yourself a bike the best way of getting fit

no idea its just the fitness tagline thing they have (maybe race for life orientated) but for me its just to get fit and maybe I can actually run in a race for life rather then walk like I do normally !!!

I have a bike steve (not that I use that either) but there is something about running that I struggle with that I really want to get over so I can start enjoying it like everybody else seems to do (and getting fitter would be nice too)

running is bad for the knees, riding the best way you just ride 45mins away from your house so you have ride another 45mins to get back

Have fun with it nothing wrong with trying to get fit.

Good luck. The worst part is always getting motivated to do it in the first place. Once I do I always feel better afterwards then wonder why I had to motivate myself in the first place. then the day after I go through the whole process again. Most days I fail to get past the motivation part
