New from US

Hello,

I am new to the forum and new to Staffords. I know more about their cousins the American Staffordshire Terrier and the American Pit Bull Terrier. I am a bit of an advocate for the breeds as they have had a lot of difficulty lately in the US (and the rest of the world). My history with Pit Bulls is that I have fostered and trained one and known and loved many others.

Any way, the reason I want to learn more about Staffords is because I just got a puppy! He is 5 months old and 25 lbs. I don't know how tall he is in inches, but he stands below my knee. The family that I got him from says they got him from a breeder and his mom was on the smaller end (about the size Saxon is now). I don't have his papers, so I am wondering what you all think. Does he look pure bred to you? It wouldn't matter to me either way, I will love him no matter what he is, but I'm curious.

Thanks for all of the compliments! I put up some more pictures that show his build a little better. He looks a lot like many of the dogs on here, so I'm thinking he might be what they say he is! Here's the thread with his pictures. Enjoy!
