Blackbird fledglings and Dempsey being lazy! :D

Poor fledgling got stuck behind the trellis! I managed to shoo him further along though, so that he could get out. Don't worry - I wasn't standing there taking pictures while he was suffering!

Hope the little birdys get on OK out in the big bad world. Dempsey always seems to be lying on his back wriggly around like a worm, bless him He must be very happy with life

Probably would have gotten out on his own anyway, but I didn't like seeing him distressed, so. Didn't touch him though. Just shooed him further along. Still tried to peck me.

And yup! The sad part is that I was actually sitting there a couple of seconds before. Did want to sit back down, but oh well!

Yeah, they should be okay. The area's full of potential habitats for them!

On his back is Dempsey's favourite sleeping position! More chance of a belly tickle!
