Should a staffy have minimal hair? Especially around their bellies and be showing quite a bit of their ribs? (Female).

Why do you ask?


They all differ, Moo is very thin on her belly and I prefer not to see ribs but feel them but again it differs with the build of the dog Xx

Darcy is same as moo, pretty bald on her belly & armpits strangely. Any reason why you would like to know.

Same with Alfie, hes thinner on his belly

Loki has thinner her on his belly, but all dogs differ. The ribs, you should be able to feel them or see the last few, but if you can see them all a lot, the dog's probably a bit too thin.

Steff is bald on her belly and underarms

Zeke has barely any hair on his belly, and hardly any above his eyes :S

Chiquito has a barely any on his belly and under his arms, he is also a little thin behind the ears and on his chest ... his ribs are well hidden though
