I have just noticed that Otis is busy licking his paw to death and took a closer look; he has a cut on the flesh close to the nail and it looks a little inflammed all the way around... A little mild salt water to bathe it?

Yes, hopefully a soak in warm salty water will take care of it. Just keep an eye on it, though, in case it gets inflamed.

LMAO the devils faces are definitely appropriate... I think I could have told him to stay until I was blue in the face Laughing We just held him in the end and dipped his paw in the cup - he didn't seem to mind then... He got a treat for being a good boy Wink

Aww thank you for asking Smile It was only a little cut but it seems fine today, hasn't got any redder so I'm hoping it's on the mend.
