The taste of beer makes me want to wash out my mouth because it tastes disgusting obviously I have a faulty brain

may be mistaken by the immediate dehydration causing the want for further liquid. its like saying water makes you want more water. if your thirsty you will want the last thing you drank (if it was like 2 min ago).

But....

As someone who admittedly who has dabbled (slight understatement) in the past (past being the main word there ha) i can fully say that's utter tripe.

Yes, some may enjoy a joint after a couple beers to plateau that dizzy drunk feeling, but that's nothing to do with the taste of beer.

also the smell may make you want it.....well duh......the smell of pizza makes me hungry, the smell of weed makes me want a joint, the smell of cheesey feetsies make me want a cuddle with the dog (he has cheesy feet) etc
