Hi everyone!
I have a brindle Staffie 4 months, and I really liked this race. I've had Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, Labrador and Doberman.
Could you tell me what are the bloodlines? I know only two, and Wyrefare Taroby. How many more are there?
I have been told that blue Staffies not win any tournaments, so why are the most expensive?

Hello & welcome to the forum.

There are many good lines in Staffords - too many to really mention here. What is your staff's pedigree?

Blues are often bred purely for colour, and so are not really good enough for the show ring, but the ones that are good do win things. Unfortunately some breeders think that is they breed blues they can ask for more money for them. You'll find that the good breeders charge the same for a blue as they do for any other colour.

There are a few blues that are winning consistently at the moment.

Hi ulys as caryll says there are loads of bloodlines out there some better than others I have a dog from the stormpike kennel who wyefare is 3rd generation. Unfortunatly for the breed blue became a must have colour even though its always been around and somepeople think if they can make money they don't really care about the conformation of the dog as long as they get the colour. Like caryl says a nice blue can win same as any other colour but they are few and far between. Smile

its all in genes if that makes sense.
