BEST DAY EVER!!!!

I'm so proud of my boy, as most of you know my boy is dog aggressive or so we thought, he has bite other dogs etc...
My mom just got a bitch staffy cross and we took our boy there to see how he'd be with her, well I was thinking that he would be aggressive and with some correction he'd be able to stand next to her but if she moved came towards him he'd bite her, this was what I THOUGHT at first before I got there.

Now we get there Dragon starts pulling like mad to go to her and she was pulling to come to him at this moment I was thinking this ain't gonna work, we took them outside turned the bitch around and let Dragon have a sniff, his tail went up started wagging I was so proud but this was not all... My step dad put the bitch inside the house and took Dragon of the lead I told him do not bring her outside if he's of the lead, he said ok but yet he did it lol, he opened the door and they started chasing each other and playing for about an hour he was soooo tired after LOL
She bossed him around though bless them, here's a video for you all to see...

Dragon looks like he is very hapy with the new addition! I'd do anything for Logan to have these experiences too.

Thats fantastic for you and will give you that bit extra fun when walking etc . Sure I don't need to tell you but don't drop your guard though and leave them unsupervised as they can fall out over the tiniest things,. my 2 do now though they haven't had a major spat in the last month or so

I was always always watching just in case anything happened, she's very skinny and a bite of Dragon would sure hurt her a lot so I was always there just to be able to stop if anything happened, I'm not going to lie I was scared that Dragon old hurt her but he didn't so that's good I know I should always be calm because he can feel that I'm not ok but I've seen him at his worst and its a bit hard to be calm when he's of the lead although I was better towards the end lol

Never seen him playing like that though he was over the moon now he's * because we had to go and he still wants to play with her LOL

Wow, that's absolutely brilliant must be great that all the effort you put into training him and helping his dog aggression has paid off. Obviously this doesn't mean it's all perfect from this point on, but you must be really happy to see him play and be so happy, and the female seems so happy too. What's her name?

There's nothing better to tire them out than play time!! But yeah daisy's had a few scraps with my family's dogs!!

looks like Dragon has himself a girlie friend It could just be that he will get along better with lady dogs than boy dogs. You were there too so he will trust you and trust the other dog and be calm with you there.

Her name is Sasha she's a staffy cross not sure what with but she seems to have some greyhound looks on her, might be because she is really skinny at the moment though, you can feel her spine and all her ribs, she's only about a year and has had a litter of puppies, the owners only wanted her for breeding wish is a shame, but now she's with a good family.
Yes he's not "cured" yet lol he's still aggressive towards some dogs, he has growled at a bitch in the past so I guess he's just very picky, as well we probably was going the wrong way about socialise him, we use to get close to the other dog and wait for them to sniff which never happened, this time we got Sasha on the lead and so was Dragon, put her bum towards his face and let him have a sniff once he did he was all over her but she was the boss he kept running away and she chased him most of the time haha so funny to watch them play, I'm really happy as you can tell, I'm going there tomorrow earlier to let them play for longer and taking the iPad to get better pictures.

Looking at the body language id say they will make a great pair. He even looks a tad submissive to her poss a maternal thing. You may even find she teaches him dog interaction and removes some da. One step at a time though and that was a fantastic vid and great news that he has a doggie freind to play with. They get more out of that than hours of walking.

Do you think in a way shell be good for him, to like teach him how to play and that? Yes he was really being bossed around by her and didn't mind haha but he's so annoying every time she was having a wee he'd go sniff her while she was doing it, she didn't like it at all lol

He's been annoying us since we've got home, won't stop crying he misses her already bless him

Yes i do mate. Dogs learn so much from each other, its a reason for leaving pups with mum and siblings for as long as possible. Id say your gonna have some nice positive experiances now hes found a dog that he has clicked with. Dont drop your guard though and keep a healthy dose of awarness but its looking good so far

A year old and she's already had a litter. Some people disgust me! At least she's away from all of that now though.

Eleanor, yea some people are so stupid they ONLY wanted the dog for breeding, my mum was saying that the person only got the dog a few months back while it was on season and breed it, now they gave it away... Disgusting people, at least Sasha has a good home now and a dog to play with

Yayyyy this is amazing SO good to see them playing together, she's gorgeous too Biscuit's a little selective too, I thought she was DA for a few months when I first got her and was adamant that I was going to find at least one dog for her to play with, it was surprisingly easy but she's very picky! Likes dogs much better than bitches, and generally only dogs staffy sized and smaller! She's got little dog syndrome I believe
