Today's Walk

Just back from a good walk at a real nice place near home called Clare Glen. Me, my gf and my Mum. Real nice place, lengthy walk and plenty for the dogs to be at.

First time I've ever taken the camera with me and it's not easy getting photos when ya have a dog like Logan barrelling along like a steamtrain! I did my best though and here are a few.

They are fine Mat Logan looks as handsome as ever! Perhaps you ought to invest in some wellies though

Izzy is my gf's dog. She is on the forum from time to time. Great wee dog, who puts up with Logan's mad (but friendly) behaviour. So it's great when we all get out.

looks like they get along well and Logan is her bodyguard

Met an Irish Wolfhound too. Which I love to see, Logan was sniffing and socialising well and so was the Wolfhound, then for some reason the owner pulled his lead super hard and corrected the dog

Logan doesn't seem to like it when people do this as I've noticed it before and he started barking at a dog 5 times his size

Stopped as soon as he was told though so he's getting good at last.

I don't have anything like that. I live in useless wee flat shoes. Plus I'm stick thin with size 11 feet so boots look ridiculous on me haha.

Me too, I have sparrow legs and big walking boots Got to the age where I don't care though

I've got chicken legs as my OH keeps telling me can't beat a half decent pair of walking boots , did nearly 4 hours in mine this morning with the dogs (inlcluding a stop at the pub ) and my feet are like brand new

Agreed Dave, I bought a new pair last week, half price too and so comfy , I was so excited. My teenage girls thought it was hilarious being so excited by walking boots ! Not cool apparently

The stop at the pub would have helped too I have thought Dave!

It really grinds on me that you lot have dog friendly pubs over there, I'm so jealous. There's nothing like that here.

I brought Logan to the bar once when he was a teeny tiny pup but I knew the girls who were working the shift and he stayed in my jacket haha!

It's one of a few round my way but the only one really in walking distance , right by the canal and great in the summer

You're quite right it's not easy taking pictures while taking your dog for a walk. Maybe attached the camera to Logan and see what happens.
