Took Tilly to her first Agility Class tonight :)

She enjoyed it I think , got to socialise with some other dogs including staring out a 1 year old Staffy girl that dared to growl at her earlier

Scared of tunnels though which I find most surprising as she loves to tunnel in the bed

Anyway I missed the first 2 weeks of the training due to work commitments but have paid up to the end (only 3 more classes) and hope we make it through without any more work disruptions

Will you continue after this course finishes?

Its all good fun, shame you couldn't do the entire course though

I have tunnels for Moo the kids ones for the garden, they store neatly and are great fun Xx

Hopefully she will get used to the tunnels

We binned a kids play tunnel last year as ours were too big for it , would have been fun , sure it was just first night nerves with her . She did the bridge thing very tentatively first time round and ran off the end , 2nd time much more confident ..............see you all at Crufts next year Seriously though just nice to spend a bit of daddy daughter time together and get her used to having a few other dogs around , it all helps

Sounds great! I'd love to do that someday with my monster. I dunno if there are a lot of things like that over here though...

Think I'm beginning to think the socialising side is more important than anything really , spend more time pulling 2 of them 2 1 side as dogs pass than anything these days and they ain't going to improve like that are they

I will get some pics at some point but kinda difficult when I have her on a lead running round

mmm see what you mean,could be a bit difficult

lead in 1 hand , treat in the other and eyes forward good fun for her and me though , my OH thought she would shy away from everything but she didn't not bad for a little girl who wouldn't walk over a bridge if she could see gaps

she's gorgeous and I think when the grey start poking through on a staff it makes them look even better

Totally agree with you Dave - the grey makes them look so wise!

I enquired about taking Dempsey to agility a couple of years ago, but nobody seemed very keen of having him in the classes..........

they are even more beautiful when the grey shows through,i was thinking about your two the other day when at work we were talking about childrens tv programs and i remember my son watching tilly,tommy and tiny and could'nt think what it was called
