walking for woofers

Hi all, this saturday im doing a walk for battersea dogs and cats home and was wondering if you could sponser me? Its not a marathon but i will have to drive into london with marley singing in my ears...walk a few miles and drive home again. I know most of are strapped for cash so even something like 50p will help as that will buy a food bowl or go towards something more pressing. Only thing i would like to ask is that you mention this site so that it identifies you with me please. I've already got a dd to Battersea Wish you had mentioned this before, haven't seen it on Batterseas page! So would have gone!

Well day went well and all dogs behaved realy well. We raised over a hundred quid for battersea today. There were a few anon donators so thank you if that was you :0) have a couple of knackerd dogs though all the playing and hope weve given a chance of a good life to a few others :0)

Well done, that was a great amount of money to raise on just one day. I'm sure it will make a huge difference to our little friends.

I didnt but one of my friends did. as it was on a common we had to get permission for that amount of dogs to be in one group and part of the deal with the rangers was all dogs must stay on leads. as such trying to take any pics with an excited dog on each arm was near on impossible lol and all i ended up with was alot of blurry bottoms. when Jen posts hers to FB i'll lift a few and post em.

Had a good day and TBH it was a bit less of a walk than we usually do but the excitement tired them out none the less. the only hardship I had was to put up with 40 miles of marley howling all the way there well worth it though if it brings some comfort to less fortunate pooches.
