staffy story from todays walk

picture the scene, large open spaces with nobody in sight, so Lola's off the lead. we get the the brow of a hill, and Lola starts wandering in the direction of two walkers. "Lola, here, Lola, come here NOW!" no response, so i start to jog over. at this point, one of the other walkers screams "George! George come here! GEORGE!!" the next scene i will never forget.

Lola comes nose to nose with a loose staffy. and then they begin to play.

i caught Lola, and he caught George (7 months old, red, gorgeous boy ) and explained how his was attacked a few weeks before by another loose staffy, and no disrespect but he didn't want to take any chances, and wasn't sure how his would react to another staffy (he'd been caught round the throat, and only had the stiches out the past few days). we had a quick natter, he praised Lola and i praised George for their temprement, and we set off on our own ways. as i left, all i heard for the next five minutes from behind me was "GEORGE!" "here" "heel" "please..." so i'm guessing the poor lad is still learning.

well done lola and George for nice introductions and play, hopefully once George is healed properly Lola may be able to play longer if they bump into eachother, it's always nice when they find a friend hopefully 1st of many

Might help to build the owners confidence back up

It must have bern horrible for them having their dog attacked like that well done lola for helping them get their confidence back great story !

I bet you have helped the owner out a lot! Logan was attacked as a very young pup and it has made me quite nervous at times, it always makes me feel a lot more at ease when I meet a friendly owner with a equally friendly dog
