Stag bar

Lexi is so extra special. She has absolutely no interest in stagbars. Its been sitting where i left it now for two weeks

Have you tried soaking it overnight in cold water?

I couldn't get Taz interested in one either , never tried the soaking thing , good tip

Lizzy is the same. She doesn't like anything unless there is an immediate AMAZING taste. She's not one for patience...the only time she goes for a stagbar is to steal it from Roger.

But I'm interested in this soaking thing...

Tried soaking! Never did a thing and she still hated it!

If she can't destroy it she hates it!

Lexi only likes bones with meat lol she's rather chew a bowl not a bone.

Yeah Kuchar's the same. I've tried soaking, smearing with tasty substances, you name it. He might give it a nibble for about 2 minutes once in a blue moon, but that's it.

I've read with frustration how other dogs on this forum have been enthralled with their stag bone which has kept them entertained for hours.

My only experience has been - no wonder it lasts for ages, it's rarely touched!

Put some peanut butter on it? Loki didn't bother with his StagBar at first because it didn't taste of anything, but eventually he did, and ever since then, he loves them they're brilliant.

The boys both destroyed the first one I got them too quick but bought them a second and both have only ever been slightly nibbled

My 2 adore them and like nothing better than chewing on them while I'm trying to watch tv! Lily likes to wedge hers against the skirting board so she can get a good chew. I soaked one of Lola's in warm water as it was dirty from the garden and she seemed to like it soaked.

My boy loves his but gives up after a little bit because he can't destroy then later on he goes back to it lol

Rocky loves his stag bars, he now has about 5 of them littered around the flat ready for me to tread on OUCH, they do hurt your feet when you find one.

Logan will only chew it if you hold it for him. Talk about lazy!
