Absolutely disgusting. I don't think they should be allowed to sell animals online like that. There's never any guarantee of where the animals are from and where they're going.

Gumtree must have a policy on sales like that is it worth e mailing the site to see if people who sell/swap animals can have their adverts removed?

The people who run the site must take some of the responsibility for this, it's just appalling that it's still going on. As said neither end of the sale is being vetted, the animals could end up absolutely anywhere, I dont want to imagine really.

I have emailed gumtree many times over this issue and they always say the same tosh that "we give advice on the site and monitor the adverts thats the best we can do"
