Bones Empty Bones

Post by reuben Fri Jan 11 2013, 14:08

Have just purchased a box of 20 bones from Berriewood Pet Supplies. They are all good sized ( I think lamb thigh bones) and I was wondering how often should I allow him one. He had one last night and within a couple of hours he had destroyed the ball joint at either end with just the hard middle bit left and his poo was quite pale this morning.

Are you feeding totally raw, or are you using them just for treats?

One or two a week will probably be ok. I imagine the bones are just that? Bones with little or no meat on them? If so, too many can give him constipation - and his poo will go white! Surprised

One or two a week should be okay. His stomach may take awhile to get used to them though
