Happy New Year and thank you

A very Happy New Year. May 2013 be filled with lots of fun walks, adventures, play, ever lasting hooves, kongs, nylabones, chews and tug toys!

Betsy and I saw the new year in tucked under lots of blankets, with some cheesy pop (to block out the fireworks .........sort of) having the biggest cuddles ever to celebrate our first new year together. I've waited years to get a doggie so I knew I could give all that's needed and it's been worth the wait. Yes at times it's been trying such as using every trick in the book to get her out the door when it's raining, windy, cold or just isn't quite right but that's my girl. Truth is she's as stubborn as her mum so we're are a match made in heaven. My life has changed so much from the first day I went to see her at the rescue. I'll never forget when she bounded up towards us all, nearly knocking us over and sharing all of her love that staffies do just so well. I took her home shortly after, nestling up together in the car and we've been peas in a pod since.

We've been through quite a lot together already. Having to leave her at the vets for a life saving op after only a few months in was hard. Walking away leaving my best bud there tore at my heart strings, but we were lucky and she got better and here we are.

Thanks to all of you on here for your advice and support- it's been invaluable particularly in this first year and no doubt will continue to be.
