Latest trick

How clever is my boy? When we return from our walks he goes straight to his towel and sits on it waiting to have his feet and tummy dried and cleaned. Then......wait for it........when I take my boots off he fetches my slippers.
Mind you he only brings one at a time. Will have to work on that. Lazy little bugger

we have a routine where when ours go in the garden they know to sit on the doormat to have their paws dried off

Same thing really. We just started drying him with a big bath towel. Then we started laying it on the floor in readiness for coming back from the walks and he started going straight to it when we returned. So he got rewards and praise and now it's part of the routine.
The slipper thing is still a work in progress but he does it maybe 8 out of 10.

Only had Suki do that fo rme once. I think she was going to eat it and I just happened to catch her attention. Well done on teaching him
