Me and my Staffy Puppy are newbies here :)

Hi guys!

I'm new here! My name's Samantha, I'm 19 and I have recently got a staffy puppy who we called Saige! Saige is 9 weeks old tomorrow (31/12/12) and has settled in very well in mine and my boyfriends flat. She is not my first staffy though, as when I lived with my parents, I looked after they're staffy a lot of the time. Her name was Belle and she's 4 years old. Also, I went on a mission and rescued another staffy originally called Pickles from a shelter near Peterborough which resulted in Pickles, now named Brandy, being adopted by my sister and her family. I guess you could say we're all staffy mad!

Saige is a very energetic puppy who's a bit of a drama queen! Went for her first vac last Monday and by gosh did she moan haha.

We've tried but she has a hissy fit whenever we try to walk her round the flat with it on. First she'll sit stubborn, then throw herself around...

She's a beautiful pup (and don't worry about the hissy fits with her collar, they'll pass - especially when she knows she'll be going walkies!)

Thank you I know, she's absolutely gorgeous! And I hope so. She's not so bad with her collar, it's just her lead. It's took her a while to get used to her collar but now she only scratches at it every now and then. Ah well, only a couple more weeks till walkies and then as you said hopefully she'll be okay when she goes out =D

Try a light weight lead and just leave it on when she is in the home
