hello A newby here

Hi all be gentle with me as a newby, posted something already but not sure if it was in the right place so will put it on here so here goes.
We have a 4 year old Pedegree Brindle Staffie (Barney) which we have had since he was a pup and is a big softie and the wife wants another dog now (shes thinking possibly another Staffie) so a few questions,
1, Is this a wise move,
2, Is it ok to introduce another staffie into the house hold,
3, If not a staffie is there another ideal dog,
what is the best way of introducing the dog into the house.
I am just a bit worried our Barney will get jelous of the other dog>

its always best to take your time when introducing another dog into a family with a dog already. You may need them to meet a few times to see how Barney reacts also let Barney sniff the new dogs bedding or similar a few times. This will introduce them slowly
