Instagram Privacy Policy Updated

Has anyone else seen this. I dont use FB myself and would be a bit peed off to say the least that they have the right to sell users' photos to advertisers without notification. Cheeky buggers:

you have upload your photos on their server so really you have gave them pernission to do whatever you like with it.

its like when people post photo on here and when thye leave they think thye have a right to tell me to remove them i didn't upload their photos they gave the rights away when the did it

if you dont want people to use your photos then you should not really added them to the world wide web

Im the same. If anyone uploads pics to me i have the right to use them on the website without asking permission first, and noone else is allowed to steal them if i have them first lol

The difference is that a user of this site assigns copyright if and only if this site's rules regarding joining up and participation define that the publisher gains and retains copyright.
It is not automatically transferred.
Instagram's difference is that it requires pre-existing members to now opt out of a policy change, rather than opt in.

I just find some people to use it can be quite posey, even pretentious. A lot of my friends use it and because they can edit and use basic preset filters they think they are pro photographers. I'm too grumpy for today's youth culture

Ok so now i feel posey for having pictures of myself on Instagram TBF though its mainly Alfie now - i bet everyones sick of me putting them up all the time lol
