Can someone please explain

I have read the how to use the forum https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/t85-list-of-tutorials-faqs . I don't want to appear stupid but how do i just use part of a quote instead of all of the txt that i want to use?. I have tried everything to just quote a sentence instead of all of it

duh how easy is that? it never even crossed my mind lol. Thanks , it's a good job i rely on my looks instead of my brain isn't it lol
